I find that every time I play any era that is not the default, I get a half
dozen lines of deprecation warnings at the top of the screen, plus a few more
every time a unit is created. I do realize that there is good reason for
these warnings, but I don't think Joe User needs to see them, and I think it
detracts from the polish of the game. Isn't there a debug mode for this sort
of thing? Perhaps the messages should be silently logged in normal mode, and
only displayed in debug mode.
I am aware that at least one other bug report has been filed related to these
warnings, and that it was marked invalid. This is a different request,
however.
