Follow-up Comment #1, bug #10314 (project wesnoth):
Solved.
I missed python-dev. Somehow it was removed during upgrade to Gutsy, and I
did not noticed one Warning in output of ./configure (Since it did not
failed, isn't it strange?).
So:
sudo aptitude install python-dev
sudo ldconfig
make distclean
./configure
make
make install
