Follow-up Comment #1:
Zookeeper thinks this was due to a flaw in the village-counting logic in C++
that has been fixed.
I see there is an originator email, despite the original submission being
tagged anonymous; this comment will be copied to him and if the bufg is still
present we can reverrt the stus.
