Follow-up Comment #2, bug #10819 (project wesnoth):
I'd say it's a build issue. It did sometimes happen for me in Windows when I
was using gcc 3.4. It's not occuring since I'm compiling with 4.2.
Nevertheles nothing that can be done with that except for the mac packager to
experiment with compile/build enviroment
