Follow-up Comment #2, bug #11110 (project wesnoth):

I've been looking into this, and I think it's a bug in the map class handling
of terrain rather than anything specific to the editor.  Thus, I'm assigning
it to Mordante, but I'll keep poking at it a bit; maybe I'll get lucky and a
solution will jump out at me.
