looks good, just a minor comment
* you did not add yourself in the "contributor" section of
data/core/about.cfg
* we have a function utils::string_bool that converts a string to a boolean,
testing for all values like yes,true,1 etc... could you use that ?
once your patch is updated, i'll gladly update it...
