Details:

I use Wesnoth in a window, not fullscreen.

If the window is overlapped by another window, and then brought back to the
front again, Wesnoth doesn't redraw the damaged section properly.

For example, in the GUI windows get lost (black) and single buttons show up
after you move the mouse over them (because they change graphics).

Another example, while in the game, if you scrolled while a fraction of the
window was obscured, this area won't be redrawn properly to reflect the
scrolling, instead only cells highlighted due to mouse movement will.

This can lead to very erratic behaviour for the user. For example, you are
master in a multiplayer game and a player left while the window was obscured.
You won't see the dialog box. As it is modal, no input to Wesnoth gives
feedback, it looks like the app is frozen, until you move the mouse over the
buttons (which aren't seen before!)...
