Details:

When playing campaign I got an assert in unit_types.cpp line 1004 when
pressing 'd' for unit description on a new, not-seen-before unit, that has
just appeared via an ingame event. 

The backtrace below is for a case when I manually removed "Mage" from the
known units list, and then loaded up a THoT scenario where a mage is
auto-summoned at the very beginning. Pressing 'd' fired up the assert message
(clicking ignore in the dialog made the game die anyway).
