Details:
Well to night I have tried to download some new campaigns by using the
extension menu. The first time I have tried an error box appears telling me
that the server was deconnected ; well for being sure, I to do this a second
time and just after this wesnoth crashed (segmentation fault, as you see on
shell_backtrace attached). Since, each time I do that the program seg'fault
exactly the second I try to connect to extensions.wesnoth.org.
So this bug appears :
1 - launch wesnoth
2 - try to connect to extensions.wesnoth.org
3 - error message : "server distant déconnecté" (in english I think it is
remote server deconnted or something like that).
4 - try again
5 - it seg'fault.
I'm running wesnoth 1.4.1 compiling from sources' tarball using the makefile
generated by configure and gcc :
gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)
My OS is debian etch with kernel :
uname -a :
Linux gen3 2.6.18-6-amd64 #1 SMP Sun Feb 10 17:50:19 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux
I have the libsdl version :
Package: libsdl1.2-dev
Architecture: amd64
Source: libsdl1.2
Version: 1.2.11-8
I heard that the server is down for maintenance or trafic is slow, therefore
this bug may not append in the futur ? I searched for some similar bugs but I
did not find any, if I have miss something please tell me by email.
I hope it will be useful.
PS : I kept the corefile in case you want to have a look in details.
