Follow-up Comment #1, bug #11698 (project wesnoth):
This won't be changed for the autotools (configure based) build recipe since
basically noone is currently maintaining it. It should already work in trunk
(1.5.x) using scons as build method, probably it also works when using cmake
to build.
So if you intention is to get it fixed in the configure based system: "Won't
do".
If it is providing a build system that allows building the server without X
installed: "Fixed" (when using scons or cmake).
The change of the build system will not be backported to the stable 1.4.x
branch.
