Details:
{I chose severity 5 because this problem completely blocks me from using
newer versions of the game. If that isn't what 'blocker' means, consider
this a severity 4 problem. What is the 'Release' field used for? I hearby
release you to tell me.}
Versions in the stable branch after 1.4.2 and versions in the developmental
branch after 1.5.2b will not install. They download (sometimes), and the
file pops open to the installer package. Double-clicking on the installer
package causes it to do the blinking and expanding thing that normally
signifies that it's starting up, but it never does.
Needed information
What version of the game are you running? — 1.4.5 and 1.5.3 (1.4.3 and
1.4.4 would not download)
Have you built (from sources) the game by yourself? gcc/g++ version? SDL
library versions? — No
What operating system are you using? What version/release of that operating
system? — OS X 10.3.9 Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6)
Can you reproduce the problem? If you can please provide steps to do it. —
Yes. Download the game and try to install.
