Follow-up Comment #2, bug #12468 (project wesnoth):
I tried to do that, but I found that I didn't have an auto-save from turn 24.
I was able to load the auto-save from turn 24 and proceeded without a problem.
So I've played from my old turn 13 and am giving you the auto-save from turn
24 of that because that's the closest I can come. Here it is.
