Details:
Units which are using a [standing_anim], such as Wolf Rider, Wolf and Sky
Drake in mainline, do not honor layering and are drawn above the terrain
layers, regardless of the [standing_anim] that is active at that moment.
Reproducing: with Debug Mode, create one of those units on a Keep or Castle
tile of tall enough walls, or create the unit in a corner of a stretch Wall
(tile "Xos") corridor. A good example is the human player's keep in the Test
Scenario; if you spawn a Wolf Rider and look carefully, you'll notice that
the wolf's legs are drawn over one of the walls.
*Note* than an exception seems to be the Vampire Bat and its unit line;
possibly because their [standing_anim]s are much longer than the
aforementioned units'.
---
It also occurs that those units' selection animations may be apparently
interrupted by the [standing_anim], making the white flash too short to be
noticeable at times, or at least shorter than other units which don't use
[standing_anim]
Reproducing: with Debug Mode, create one of those units anywhere and try
selecting it. Create a unit without [standing_anim] elsewhere and try
selecting it. Compare. In the test scenario you can easily compare a Wolf
Rider against the player's leader Silver Mage.
