Follow-up Comment #2, patch #1149 (project wesnoth):
Yes, it is worthwhile. I plan on adding features to the logging such as
getting more detailed information for a scenario (kills on a particular tile)
and more data collection. It will become more complex and this will help me
debug it
I've attached the patch updated with my name added to about.cfg
