Follow-up Comment #6, bug #13905 (project wesnoth):
I got Jetrel to test as well (on Mac), and he could reproduce too. It seems
to me, the problem is that pango isn't using a font with Chinese glyphs
(SDL_ttf stuff still works, but nothing from pango has non-Roman glyphs).
This is weird though, because it used to work in 1.6.0, and it STILL works
for me. And I don't remember changing anything related to that.
Also, I think maybe this should be Important, not Blocker, since it is
language and OS specific (probably).
