Sorry, but I still think the original report is the same thing as comment #2
so moved it to none. As said in comment #4 if the original poster doesn't
reply I consider the bug to be comment #2 and mark it as fixed when that's
fixed.
I've some ideas how to recover, but aborting on invalid pango markup is a bad
design, and we can do better as that.
