OK, I commited a fix for the fighter problem, but i was not able to reproduce
the clasher part...
could you please give us more details
* what weapon you are using,
* what direction you are attacking (i think the ennemy is at the north, but
there is always an ambiguity with attack direction)
* what do you expect, what do you get
