Details:
I play Battle for Wesnoth in Linux and I am having some graphic issues when
my X server is running in 16-bit mode (highcolor). I have tried it with
several versions of Battle for Wesnoth, several Linux distributions (most are
debian-based) and three different graphic cards in different computers (radeon
9250, geforce 9500 and savage 4). The issues are always reproducible.
The 16-bit mode makes the game run much faster with the savage graphic card,
otherwise the game is not playable (at least not enjoyable), as the computer
that uses the savage is an old Pentium III 600 with 192 MB RAM. This is why I
am so interested in the 16-bit mode.
Yes, I have tested the game in 24-bit mode, and everything looks ok.
I am attaching 3 screenshots with the issues I have detected. I think they
are easy enough to be reproduced if you look at them. Just tell me if you
need more information.
Thank you!
