Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15764 (project wesnoth):
Furthermore, the Chat Text will auto-scroll itself back to the top of chat
log, concealing the new chat.
I've not figured out the pattern for this behavior, it seems likely it may
just be each time new chat is entered.
