Details:
While playing DiD 7, I have noticed that the behaviour of the nightgaunt's
nightstalk skill seems to have a bug when a game is re-loaded.
Usually, during the night, your nightgaunts are always hidden except if you
are next to an enemy unit or have fought one, even if you killed it. However,
if you have killed this unit then have saved/reloaded your game, the
nightgaunt will become hidden.
I have attached a save file from DiD showing this. Here are the steps to
reproduce the bug :
- Load the file Nightgaunt.gz
- Attack the guard with the nightgaunt. If you can't kill it, reload.
- End your turn : your nightgaunt will get attacked, as it is not hidden.
- Load the file Nightgaunt.gz
- Attack the guard with the nightgaunt. If you can't kill it, reload.
- Save
- Load that save : your nightgaunt is shown as hidden
- End your turn : your nightgaunt won't get attacked
I haven't checked if shadows/woses... are affected as well.
