Follow-up Comment #3, bug #16130 (project wesnoth):
Really? strange... Well, let me provide a step by step way to produce it...
(using wesnoth 1.8.3)
1: start wesnoth.
2: click multiplayer.
3: create local game. (or multiplayer. both crash for me.)
4: pick any normal map. (try just a 2p map.)
5: pick this era wrote below. (era.cfg)
6: play the game.
7: at start, right click somewhere and pick the debug menu item.
8: click to continue.
9: pick unit create.
10: type in a unit type that DOES NOT exist. (try 'Failure')
11: leave it side 1. (or change it. it doesn't matter. As long as it is
valid.)
12: continue and the game will crash without saying unknown unit. It will
generate an error message. I will screenshot it as well.
