Follow-up Comment #6, patch #1952 (project wesnoth):
I originally wrote this patch for the 1.8 branch. There it showed an 8-fold
speedup. The 1.9 branch is quite different already and the blitting algorithm
was already improved rel. to 1.8.
I'm not sure what separate steps you mean. Splitting the add and commit
measurements? No I didn't measure it separately. What would be the
significance of this separate measurement?
