Details:
Hi!
Really enjoying the campaign, but I didn't quite get the objectives of this
scenario. The first pre-scenario says that if the turns run out, I lose.
Looking at the scenario source, I think this may be because it has been
erronously swapped with the objectives for the next part of the scenario
where the objective oddly enough is to hold on until the turns run out - but
looking at the source it seems you actually have to slay the enemies?
At least if I slay the enemies in the last part, I do win - but this wasn't
listed as one of the possible ways to win.
Another thing is that the bonus objective of slaying Urudin isn't explained
well. Can I suggest some extra dialogue at end after "To arms, elven-kind!",
like?
[message]
id=guard
message= _ "Commander! What if more assassins are sneaking
about in the woods?"
[/message]
[message]
id=Galtrid
message= _ "Stand guard! We must hold fast. Maybe we can
relieve the soul from the body of that orcish assassin leader and thereby
teach them a lesson..."
[/message]
Then maybe change Mutaf-urus cursing to something that better explains why
he's just standing still in his camp when he could be attacking:
[message]
id=Mutaf-uru
message= _ "Cursed tree-shaggers and their filthy bows! The
forests are not safe for a great commander, the mountains provide better
hiding for an orc while the rest of the army catches up with us."
[/message]
While I'm at it, I didn't like Urudins jokes, they just seemed too obvious to
be funny. Here's a reworded message:
[message]
id=Urudin
message= _ "Ho, elves! Hand over the stone or we will tear down
your
cute little playhouse and hunt you like rabbits. If you give us the stone now,
I promise your death will be quick and painless."
[/message]
And I think it would be more effective if Urudin answers Galtrid before
moving over and crushing the village, it's an improvised answer that flies
out your mouth immediately.
Sorry, now I maybe went a little overboard.
