Follow-up Comment #3, bug #16244 (project wesnoth):
I can confirm this with the 1.9.4 version of Wesnoth.
Running windows 7:
Taskbar position is left
Wesnoth running in fullscreen mode
Alt-tab out of wesnoth
Alt-tab back to wesnoth
Wesnoth is now moved slightly to the left and a portion of the window is
outside of the screen, the taskbar is still visible.
As Leo said, change resolution or deactivate and then activate fullscreen
will get the fullscreen mode working again, but that is a realy annyoing fix
tbh
I have noticed this behaviour in other SDL applications too
