Follow-up Comment #1:
Can't reproduce in trunk r49220.
I strongly suppose that the reason was the SCATTER_IMAGE macro, ceasing
prestart event execution and thus not placing the orcs etc. Should be fixed
since r48464 (since 1.9.5). Difficult to test due to the randomness involved.
