<shadowmaster> indeed, it's because of r49331 (and the khalifate equivalent
r49374)
I reverted the changes, since it isn't high priority and requires some C++
fiddling (leader picking seems to even have its own manager class). If you are
willing to post an updated patch containing C++ changes, please do.
You should aim for removing the need of type= altogether, and make the
behavior such that not having this attribute will result in type=random (and
fix the duplicate random entries of course ;-) )
