Details:
Units with hyphens in their names appear to break save games. Attached is an
example of a save from turn 3 and one from turn 6 (corrupt after leveling a
Naffat into a Qatif-al-nar). The original problem report is here:

There is a proposed solution in the post after the one linked to above.
