Details:
Wesnoth 1.8.6 crashes on launch in Mac OS 10.4.11. Wesnoth 1.8.5 worked fine
with no problem.
I tested this on two Mac computers, one with a intel processor and an older
model using PowerPC processor. Both computers experienced immediate crashes
with Wesnoth 1.8.6
See attached crash reports - "crash.txt" is from the Mac with intel processor
and "crash2.txt" is from the Mac with PowerPC processor.
