Details:
The OSX version of Wesnoth 1.8.6 uses a different directory than 1.8.5 to
store its save games and preferences.
It uses ~/Library/Preferences/Wesnoth_1.6
while 1.8.5 uses ~/Library/Application Support/Wesnoth_1.8
According to Apples developer guidelines the latter seems to be the more
appropriate location, thus I'd suggest to revert to using that path in future
versions.
