Follow-up Comment #2, patch #2862 (project wesnoth):
More details:
The tree and the stone wall were using the same hex as a reference and
because the base for the wall was lower, it was drawn on top. The patch moves
the wall base to the same level as the tree, then reorders the two to ensure
that the tree is drawn on top of the walls.
A better solution would be to carefully adjust all the bases to actually
reflect their real base on the map, especially since the current patch ends up
drawing the walls below units (forgot to test units after making terrain draw
properly).
I'll resubmit once I address this issue.
