Thanks for a wonderfully prepared bug report.
I've re-written the assertion as an exception that produces an error
message and continues running. In this case the error message is:
warning engine: WML Syntax error:: Variable in WML string cannot be evaluated
due to the first character of identifier is one of these, .[] invalid
characters in
"floors[].map" at
"floors[" <---->"].map"
If you think that the error message can be worded more clearly or there is a
better solution I can oblige.
