1.9.9 is right ? Any of thonsew's changes to variable.cpp come afterwards.
Also, if you try this.does.length, as opposed to this.length, may this be in
lua or in wml, it seems right to me to get nil, at least it is already this
way a long time (IIRC zookeeper mentioned something about silene changing it),
and it's obviously unrelated to recent changes.
It means that to avoid stderr messages one may need multiple
[if][variable]something.length greater_than=0 blocks though (depending on how
many . you have there), for instance in data/core/ai_controller.cfg, which
emits lots of these, so this counts as a sensible FR at least imo.
