Follow-up Comment #2, bug #18676 (project wesnoth):
Calling color_adjust from the comman line via
lua wesnoth.wml_actions.color_adjust({ red = 255 }) or from lua code executed
from a set_menu_item command also doesn't expire, notably also not in 1.9.8.
