Details:
(Took me *ages* to figure out how to reliably reproduce this bug and I don't
know whether I'll be able to fix it, so here it goes.)
When working in MDI mode in the map editor, the editor palette shrinks
according to the amount of terrains in the currently selected category after
switching or closing maps. This is opposed to the desired behavior of keeping
the editor palette as tall as possible according to the window size.
To reproduce:
- Change your game resolution/window size to 1280x800 or a similar height and
enter the map editor. Make sure "allow multiple maps to be open
simultaneously" is enabled in File -> Editor Settings.
- Open/create two or more maps of any size or contents.
- Select the Embellishments category in the editor palette, or another
similarly scarcely populated category. Note that there should be empty
vertical space between the last terrain row displayed in the category and the
Down arrow button at the bottom of the game window.
- Switch to the other map. Notice the Down arrow button is no longer at the
bottom of the window, but rather immediately beneath the last terrain row.
- Select the All category in the editor palette and notice how it no longer
displays as many terrain rows as possible, leaving empty space towards the
bottom of the window.
Resizing the game window or selecting one of the larger terrain categories
and switching maps again makes the palette size return to normal.
