Okay, some questions come up with this one:
* Which translation are you trying to use? Not all are completely translated.
If a string is not translated, there will be no error.
* Can you please paste the whole output of stderr.txt (or however it is called
and done on Windows).
* Could you try some "known to be complete and working" translation like eg
French? After switching the language please make sure to close wesnoth and
restart Wesnoth since I know that there are probs with changing langs on the
fly every now and then.
Somehow I fear that you are a single user with such a problem and basically
noone else being affected. This would mean something strange is going on in
your system setup.
