I just checked and fendrin confirmed, the following already works:

border_size=1
usage=map
data="{~add-ons/A_Simple_Campaign/maps/01_Template.map}"
[/map]
map_data="{~add-ons/A_Simple_Campaign/maps/01_Template.map}"

The map can be spcified either way (or even both), with 01_Template.map being
in old format.
So I withdraw the FR as already working.
