Follow-up Comment #2, bug #19758 (project wesnoth):

I think r54350 does not address the bug reported here. That revision adds more
triggers for the event where the player chooses elves or bandits, yet the bug
report here states that the choice was already made. (I'm not sure the extra
triggers make sense, but the case they cover is rather unlikely anyway.)

Rather, what was reported here is that if the player chooses the elves, then
the scenario objectives are updated to include "Defeat Urza Afalas" as a
victory condition. However, defeating Urza Afalas has no bearing on ending the
scenario, so why is it an objective? (Or why does the lich's death event not
check for Urza Afalas' defeat before prompting someone to say "We have beaten
them both, criminals and undead"?)
