I tried this with 1.10.0 and 1.10.4+svn, and neither of them crashed. Is there
something else that might need to be done?
Can you generate a backtrace? (From a command prompt:
gdb wesnoth
Then once Wesnoth crashes, switch back to the command prompt and type
bt
at the gdb prompt. You might want to run Wesnoth in a window so it's easier to
switch back to the command prompt.)
