Details:
How to reproduce: set russian or other non-latin X keyboard layout and try to
type anywhere in the game (chat, set labels, save name).
I guess it's something with keyboard input driver, because russian text can be
pasted from clipboard without problems.
The bug occurs both in full-screen and window mode.
Tested on 1.10.3 (debian testing) and 1.10.5 (debian experimental).
Nothing unusual in console output:
