I personally couldn't reproduce the issue with either Wesnoth 1.11.7 or 1.11.8
on Debian testing (gcc 4.8.2 and boost 1.54.0), but this isn't the first time
I've heard of bugs that seem dependent on the compiler or boost version (e.g.
bug #21449). That is, assuming
The fact that nothing is mentioned in the changelog about editor bugfixes and
changes doesn't mean that any such didn't take place, only that the developer
didn't update the file. Since we can only support the latest development
version of a series at a given time (the development series is a moving target
by design), it'd be nice if you could confirm whether the issue is still
present on 1.11.8. If you do, a complete gdb backtrace would be helpful too
