Details:
When I want to zoom in on the map, I don’t want to have to press the + key
over and over again, or futz with the slider.
I also don’t like how arbitrary zooming that looks less than desirable on
the screen — scaling to 2x/3x/4x would solve this.
If this change were made, this could allow bug #22777
