in 1.9.x
shouldn't be hard to fix, but this looks like it could cause OOS if the 1.12.2
and 1.12.1 versions behave differently here so i don't think we should fix
this on 1.12.
This tag is implemented in lua so you could easily fix this for you addon by
shipping a fixed version of this tag with your addon.
