Follow-up Comment #1, bug #23599 (project wesnoth):
Does it still happen if you disable music in Preferences? Also, if I
understand correctly from the Debian bug report, this is with the client
running on Debian jessie or stretch, right? If so, this sounds suspiciously
like a variation of bug #23026, which I have also experienced on Debian jessie
before.
