Follow-up Comment #11, bug #21649 (project wesnoth):
I can confirm that fix works on Windows 10. It also has a side effect of
reducing character width.
WITH the fix, the result of pango_font_metrics_get_approximate_char_width is
7237
WITHOUT the fix the same result is 10240.
