I think it would be fairer to mark this one as Confirmed rather than Works For
Me. It's clearly a problem for some even if you're unable to replicate it.
818x600 seems to be the threshold for Windows. Having the files displayed and
shrinking the window to smaller than that does not make the files disappear.
Likewise, starting the load dialogue on a screen with 817x600 or smaller and
then expanding the window does not make the files suddenly appear.
For the current master, at least, Linux seems to be okay (contrast my comment
on 14th August which said Linux was not).
