I want to thank Eleazaar for bringing up some
important issues with UTBS. I'm flattered someone went
through my campaign with such care. I have tried to
fix some of them in the recent 1.5.1 release. Let me
respond to each one point by point.

Graphic Issues with UtBS:

flesh-golem: has no animations
(This is a minor unit I added as an easter egg, many
players will never encounter it. The artwork was one
of Neoriceisgood's old pictures that I thought was
rather humorous. If someone has better golem unit with
animations I can replace it.)

Nagas: none of the custom Nagas are animated.
(Jetryl was kind enough to send me these images when
he was working on the nagas. He never had time to
fully animate them. They aren't critical units, but I
like the variety they add to the Nagas.)

Troll Shaman: has no animations-- unusual circumstance
since trolls are being redone.
(This unit was originally done by Sangel. My hope was
to have someone redo the artwork when the trolls get
updated. They are probably the most important unit on
this list.)

Troll Zombie: not enough animations--however complete
animations are in mainline
(I have replaced the troll zombie images with the
mainline images.)

Waterserpent: has no animations
(This is very minor unit. I have deleted it.)

Nearly all units have hard-edge shaddows
(This may need to be addressed. Most of my unit images
were drawn before the new shadows were introduced.)

Bola attack icon is old style
(I thought the attack icon would work well for now.
I'm sure whoever is doing the new attack icons can do
a better job.)

Things that should be done soon after inclusion: (not
neccesarily by Quartex)

Items: some graphics in "items" are generally useful
so should be in the mainline items folder.

Terrain:
the Abyss should be replaced by Chasm once a
Chasm-Bridge is created.
(I agree, I thought the current graphics would serve
well enough until a chasm bridge was made)

Sand dune exists in mainline
(this is a obsolete image, I don't use it anymore and
have removed it)

Giant tentacle: now exists in mainline mainline.
(I was using a duplicate version because I preferred
the name "Giant Tentacle" to "Tentacle of the Deep".
But I have erased my version and use the mainline
instead)

UtBS version uses some old and some mainline graphics
(The only mainline graphics that I think I use are a
few items. Previously I was annoyed at the item
locations moving around, so I decided to just store
the ones I needed in my campaign images folder. I will
delete any duplicates.)

UTBS version has slightly different stats. if these
stats are desired recommend
copying the mainline unit and altering stats

(I intentionally changed the desert elves stats.

I changed the terrain movement of the dwarves and
trolls to keep them from easily jumping over important
encounter points in my campaign. I've decided it's
easier to reshape my maps slightly and delete these
alternate units. So in 1.5.1 I have deleted all the
duplicate trolls and dwarves.

I think the only duplicate units left are:
-the hero units (which I keep in case I get custom
unit art for the heroes).
-the Ethereal Spirit units, which are like the normal
Ghost,Wraith, etc. except they can pass through walls.

-the Necromancer used to represent the Dark Triad in
Scenario 9. They are the same as the normal
necromancer for everything except for the artwork. I
prefer the older artwork for these units. I can rename
them if this is a problem.
-the "Deep One" which shares the artwork of the
cuttlefish, but is renamed because it a weaker
version.

In general if there is any conflict I don't think that
the mainline units should be changed to fit my
versions.)

I hope this clarifies a few of the issues. I
definitely want to fix some of these in the future.

-Asa
