This is a heads-up to the Wesnoth site webmaster(s).
data/tools/Makefile now includes a "make help" production that will
generate an XHTML reference page from comments embedded in macro
definitions in the source distribution. I have updated almost all
macros under data/utils, and many elsewhere, with apppropriate
comments.
The markup on the generated page is fully CSS-aware; you will be
able to hack its style by editing helpheader.xhtml in that
directory, which contains the introductory text for the reference
page and definitions for all CSS classes.
I suggest you use this to supplement or replace the present rather
unsatisfactory page on utility macros at
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/UtilWML
In the future, regenerating this reference page and plugging it into
the correct place on the site should be part of the normal release
process.
