Calling doxygen from make would simplify the task to jump to all warnings doxygen produces. At least for vim and probably emacs (just type :make <target> and vim will jump to all warnings in the code, see also the :wc error window, :cn for next warning, ...) But doxygen also prints some wrong warnings and it is very very likely that you will find errors in it.
