To give you some way to already start working on things, here is a short list of what will be in the next stable release: Probably all of the current campaigns in trunk will be in 1.4.x. Beside NR all campaigns are basically complete though UtbS is going though a rewrite that might change some strings but probably not too many. NR is the only problematic case since there is an incomplete branch in there atm. This will hopefully be completed "rather soon" that is withhin the next two months. Between christmas and newyears eve I want to start the feature-/string freeze. It might happen that some more content will get into mainline before that time but what currently is in will stay with a probability of ~99% (if something is *really* screwed up we will of course remove it). ATM Taurus and ESR work on polishing "Thursagan's Hammer" so that it might get included, too. Maybe some more content will get in, there are still about 2 months left to include things and IMO it is nice to provide as much high quality content as possible. So in general you can already start working on all the campaigns, there are no plans for huge rewrites in the dialogs beside some little fixes and such. The only things that probably will change are NR (that branch will be completed and introduce some new strings) and UtbS (the rewrite might cause some improvements for dialogs). I hope this helps a little with planning your work on the next stable release (the 1.4.x series...).
