Jepp, exactly. I would like to have things build for 1.3.13 the same way up for
all versions until 1.4. That is including the same configure options and the
same dependencies. I do understand that this lib could do a while lot of good,
though the feature freeze is a bad time to add it.
I currently see two options:
1) Do not work on it until 1.4 is out, start work on it then and save the
current patches somewhere.
2) Put stuff into a branch and work on it there. That is check in what you
currently have (eg the load monitor stuff) and make things working. It can then
directly be merged to trunk once 1.4 is out and has a branch of its own.
